Dear Lily,

How have you been this summer? I've finally caught a break from Gideon and Fabian Prewett's pranks, so I thought about checking up on some of my friends.

I hope your sister isn't driving you insane, I can relate, though, if she is. Amelia is getting a little bit annoying to be around. I don't think she understands that if she keeps it up, I'll be pranking her next. (Though then I would expect her to join Molly's brothers and we would be outnumbered.) Still, I think it would be too bad if you weren't enjoying at least a little bit of your summer. So hopefully your family isn't too bonkers.

I hope your parents don't mind having Charlemagne (my owl) flying in and out. I just imagined you would enjoy getting in touch with someone from school. I know I'm glad I'm sending it. Even some of Molly's ideas are starting to get bothersome. (Don't tell her I said that. I still do enjoy tricking her brothers... just... nevermind.)

It is so good to hear from you. I've missed you guys over the summer. Tell Molly, Amelia, Fabian, and Gideon that I say hi. I'm glad that Fabian and Gideon have given you a break. I know what being the object of a prank feels like... Thank you Potter.

Anyways... My summer has been good. I haven't seen much of Petunia. She got hitched last Easter... so she's spending all her time with her new hubby. He looks like an oversized swine if you ask me. But y'know... who asked me? If I was there with you guys... I'd totally help you get them twins... I know what a handful they can be

As for Ameila, hang in there. Being the younger sibling. I understand how she feels. She probably just want's attention, or to show you that she is special in some way. I know that's how I feel sometimes. My pare- I mean My mom is so obsessed with Petunia and her new husband, that I sometimes feel left out

You're the first person to write to me all summer, save Professor Dumbledore. I ALMOST FORGOT! Guess who's your new Head Girl? That's right. He chose me. I'm so excited. I'll see to it than any of your return pranks to Fabian and Gideon will be overlooked. (:

Well I do thank you for writing to me. How was your summer? I forgot to ask. I'm rather rude. Oh, and I apologize if the handwritting isn't exactly legible. I haven't allowed Wulfric (my owl) out because we've had some terrible storms here lately, and I think he is rather hungry. So, needless to say, his constant hand pecking tends to make my finger's a bit achey

Dear Lily,

Congratulations! That is very exciting about being Head Girl! And especially since it catches Molly and myself a break should we get caught. (Though that is fairly unlikely.)

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but the twins wanted to get a few good pranks in before they left for Germany. (The Prewetts are going there on holiday.) They do this almost every July, with a different destination each year. And I'm left alone for a week and a half. But that's okay, cause now I get to spend some good quality time with my sister.

That's good news for your sister, I guess. I've always imagined her as an unpleasant sort of girl, she seems to have little enough regard for the wizarding world. Maybe she'll be happy with her pig-man. I do apologize for being rude. I just can't help it though.

My summer's been great despite the constancy of pranks. Maybe it's because of the pranks, not despite them... in any case, it's been a load of fun. And don't worry about the handwriting, I've been deciphering the twins' scratchings since they were small, and believe me, it was bad.
